The 2015 music festival circuit was alive with out of this world sights, sounds and sensory stimuli to the delight of concertgoers and fans of interactive art installations. In what has become an expected part of this type of festival experience, innovative sculptures, colorful effects and interesting structures dot the grounds at these massive events to offer exotic spots to hang out or get a bit of cooling outdoor shade from the often harsh heat of daytime sun rays.
Koolfog recently partnered with the folks at Incendia to integrate technology and atmospherics into Incendia’s immersive geodome structure and art installation.
Incendia is known for their expertise in safely creating pyrotechnic wonders and fire ceilings in their spheres and at specific restaurant and nightclub venues. Incendia has captured the simplicity of fire with its illuminating glow and hypnotic power. When you step into an Incendia geometric dome environment, overhead flames and professional lighting meld with a state of the art sound system for a full body, mind, and soul experience. One such structure can provide space for up to 300 people and can function as a raucous dance floor, an airy lounge space, or as a stately dining area.
Koolfog loves a challenge and our dynamic design team as well as our misting and fog solutions engineers have fun coming up with different applications to excite our clients. Koolfog worked with Incendia to place a high pressure misting system around the perimeter of a geodome slated to go on tour throughout the United States to dazzle at events including: Kinnection, Mad Tea Party Jam 4, Moonshine Festival, Imagine Festival, Alchemy, and Zen Awakening.
The technical complexity of creating fog effects to work in stylish connection with the element of fire produced a one of a kind outdoor visual effect. At once, soft and elusive then dense and intense, depending upon the mood of the group, the vibe of the song, or the use of colorful lighting, our misting system enhanced the environment giving depth to this outdoor destination.
