We manufacture our fog line rather than settling for lower-cost, lower-quality imports. Our atomization line (i.e. fog line, fog manifold) features an all stainless steel construction that is subject to exhaustive inspection and testing prior to delivery. Key Specifications:
- All 316 stainless steel
- Welded adapters, not fittings providing long-lifespan
- 1/8 adapters
Apart from the high-pressure fog pump, in a complete fog system the atomization line (i.e. fog line or fog manifold) is an equally necessary part of visual fog effects or humidification applications. As water enters the Koolfog fog system, debris and sediment is cleared by a dual water filtration system before entering the pump. It then travels through a series of checkpoints to ensure that the water supply is consistent and output pressure is ideal. The water accelerates through distribution line to stainless steel fog line. Stainless steel has a magnificent ability to reform the protective layer (chromium (III) oxide) that occurs when stainless steel is exposed to oxygen, whenever it is scratched. This healing-like phenomenon is called passivation and is one of the reasons we choose stainless steel as the material to encapsulate our fog.
Once the water is thrust through the pump to the fog line, and emits from the fog nozzles, the atomization process occurs. Atomization, understood in this context as a process in which water is pushed at high pressures through an opening smaller than a human hair and broken apart by an impingement pin. This causes the water particles to split into smaller parts, emitting a fine spray or fog. Depending on the type of fog nozzle used will determine the shape, size and resiliency of the fog. Only with the performance of a high-pressure system, Koolfog’s welded stainless steel fog line and proprietary fog nozzles can you control chaos and create inspiration with an outdoor fog effects system.
Customization is time-consuming. It also supports individual creativity and is easily adaptable to changes that may occur along the design and implementation process. It’s an investment. But have you ever walked into a custom-made kitchen, sat in a custom-designed car or enjoyed a meal designed to pair perfectly with wine? When it’s a custom design, you can always tell. We like to think of customization as a way to intimately communicate the needs of each client. If we are able to make both big and small adjustments, we are able to understand our market and client well beyond any of our competitors. Because of this perspective, and our many years of designing and delivering incredible fog effects, we are able to create an effective fog system perfectly catered to any situation, no matter how complicated.
We are experts at handling the details, and there are always details. Koolfog’s fog atomization line is a seemingly insignificant piece to the overall picture, but it’s where the customization begins. Choosing Koolfog’s high-pressure fog systems is not just choosing Koolfog. It’s recognizing that your individualization is the driving force behind incredible results. It’s acknowledging that your needs are important, that YOU are important. And that’s why we love our job.
