Fog rolling throughout one of the rock features in Hammock Hollow Children’s Garden
Every parent knows the importance of keeping kids cool and safe during the sweltering summer months. It is for the same reason that the project’s landscape architects decided to incorporate misting effects within a children’s area within Bok Tower Gardens. The Koolfog system provides a dry mist that makes it fun for kids to play within the interactive space while also cooling the environment significantly.
Kids experience “Hammock Hollow Children’s Garden,” which features rocks for climbing and a natural and enchanting mist throughout. As the Gardens’ president David Price suggests, “Hammock Hollow is a place for kids to find themselves and while getting lost in the wonder of plants, animals and art.” The Ledge Walk and River Walk feature water effects as well as the cooling mist. From the Bok Gardens’ website , “Cool off in the sparkling springs of River Walk and discover a refreshing display of fountains, spray jets, misters and foggers.”
The addition of the cooling mist adds a fun new element to the play space, making it even easier for kids’ imaginations to run wild! Parents will also enjoy the cooling benefits, especially when their kids don’t want to leave!
