The Branson Aquarium at the Boardwalk in Missouri offers a captivating and immersive aquatic enhancing experience, with interactive exhibits, water features with fog effects, educational programs, and opportunities for hands-on exploration. It is also one of the area’s most prolific entertainment hubs boasting a host of dining experiences, cocktail spots, unique shops, and world-class attractions.
A Giant Octopus And Dancing Waters?
A 55-foot tall, illuminated octopus sculpture helms the property with hundreds of LED lights changing colors to festively interest guests of all ages. Adjacent to the sculpture is a cascading lake (near the venue’s Aquarium at the Boardwalk) and a breathtaking fountain show.
The water feature with fog effects utilizes state-of-the-art immersive technology blended with highly choreographed water, light, and fog effects synchronized to a variety of songs. Playing two fully choreographed shows every half hour from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily, this water feature with fog effects becomes a “dancing fountain” providing beautiful sights and sounds that make Branson Boardwalk even more enjoyable and memorable for guests.
To add to the spectacular display, the octopus sculpture’s lighting controller is integrated into the show fountain’s control system. As the fountain show plays, the octopus becomes an extension of the show, delighting and further drawing visitors to the center for a stunning sensory experience.
Superior Fountain Show Design
The Branson Boardwalk water feature with fog effects and fountain show was created by Outside the Lines (OTL- www.otl-inc.com) known for their artistic and themed one-of-a-kind water features. Koolfog worked closely with the OTL team to produce custom fog rings for the project. The fog rings, placed within the water feature, release a plume of fog to seamlessly move with the lights and music rhythms of the themed fountain show.
